The CanDo Exercise Loop Band is a high-quality latex resistance band pre-formed into a 15-inch loop, eliminating the need to cut and tie a flat band. At 3 inches wide, the loop is designed primarily for lower body exercises and can be used for a wide range of upper and lower body movements. Available in 7 progressive resistance levels using a standard color-coded sequence, this Red band represents the Light resistance level. Highly portable and suitable for home, clinic, and travel use. Lengths represent the loop when flat — a 15-inch loop is equivalent to 30 inches of flat band cut and tied.
This exercise loop is well suited for physical therapists and occupational therapists who prescribe loop band exercises for lower extremity strengthening, hip abduction and adduction, knee rehabilitation, and gait training programs where a pre-formed loop is more practical than a cut-and-tied flat band. It is a practical choice for patients in home exercise programs who need a simple, portable resistance tool for lower body strengthening without the complexity of managing a long flat band. Fitness and conditioning programs that use color-coded progressive resistance systems will benefit from the CanDo loop line's compatibility with standard resistance color sequences, allowing seamless integration into existing protocols. It is also appropriate for senior fitness programs, cardiac rehabilitation, and any setting where a lightweight, portable loop band is needed for gentle to moderate lower body strengthening and range-of-motion exercises.
What resistance level is Red?
Red is the Light resistance level in the CanDo exercise loop 7-level progressive system. The levels progress from X-Light (Yellow), Light (Red), Medium (Green), Heavy (Blue), X-Heavy (Black), Special Heavy (Silver), to Ultra Heavy (Gold) as resistance increases.
What is the difference between a 10-inch, 15-inch, and 30-inch loop?
The loop size determines the range of motion and the body part it is best suited for. The 10-inch loop is typically used for upper body and smaller joint exercises. The 15-inch loop is designed for lower body exercises such as hip abduction, clamshells, and leg press movements. The 30-inch loop accommodates larger range-of-motion exercises and full lower body movements. A full body set includes all three sizes in the same resistance color.
Is this loop the same as a No-Latex loop?
No — this is a standard latex loop. If you or your patient has a latex allergy or sensitivity, please select the CanDo No-Latex loop band in the equivalent resistance level instead.
How do I clean the loop band?
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow to air dry completely before storing. Avoid exposure to oils, lotions, or solvents, which can degrade the latex material over time. Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
