What does the test tell me about my fitness?
The test analyzes 17 genetic variants across five categories: endurance, response to exercise, strength training, athletic power, and motivation, recovery, injury risk, and pain tolerance. Results are delivered as a personalized profile through the Genofit app, with insights into which types of exercise are most beneficial for your genetic makeup and where you may have elevated risk or reduced response.
How is the DNA sample collected?
DNA is collected by rubbing the included brush gently inside your mouth against your cheek for 15 seconds. The process is safe, painless, and takes less than a minute. Place the swab in the provided collection tube and return it in the prepaid envelope.
Is there an age limit?
No. The test can be performed on individuals of any age. If the participant is a minor, the legal guardian must sign the consent form.
How long does it take to receive results?
Results are typically available within 1 to 3 business days after the laboratory receives your sample. You will be notified when results are ready to view in the Genofit app.
