Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if the Wideback is the right size for me?
The ObusForme Wideback is designed for broader builds, specifically men's clothing size 44 and above or women's size 18 and above. At 19 inches wide it provides significantly more lateral coverage than standard backrests. If standard backrests do not fully support your back from side to side, the Wideback is designed for you.

How does the adjustable lumbar support work?
The lumbar support pad can be repositioned vertically along the backrest to target the exact area of your lower back that needs support. This allows you to customize the support point to your body height and sitting position rather than relying on a fixed lumbar position that may not align with your anatomy.

Can this backrest be used in a car?
Yes. The ObusForme Wideback is suitable for use in vehicle seats as well as office and home chairs. Its lightweight, portable design makes it easy to move between your car, office, and home as needed.

How do I clean the cover?
The cover is removable and hypoallergenic. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent and allow to air dry fully before replacing on the backrest. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
