Consistent, accurate blood pressure monitoring at home starts with a monitor that is easy to use every single time — and the Perfect Measure BJ120130 delivers exactly that. Fully automatic operation means there are no manual adjustments or complicated settings: wrap the cuff, press the button, and the monitor does the rest. The universal adult upper arm cuff fits arm circumferences from 8.7" to 16.5", accommodating most adults without a separate cuff purchase. Dual-user support with 180 total memories (90 per user) makes it practical for two people to track their readings independently on the same device. The backlit LCD displays systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate simultaneously, and the WHO blood pressure classification indicator provides immediate context for each reading. Irregular heartbeat detection alerts the user to potential arrhythmia during measurement. Runs on 4 AAA batteries (included) or Micro USB for travel. 3-year manufacturer warranty.
What does the WHO blood pressure classification indicator do?
The WHO (World Health Organization) blood pressure classification indicator displays a color-coded or symbol-based indicator alongside each reading that shows where the measurement falls within the WHO's standard blood pressure categories — such as optimal, normal, high normal, or various grades of hypertension. This gives the user immediate visual context for their reading without needing to look up reference ranges. It is an informational feature to help users understand their readings — it does not replace medical advice or diagnosis. Always consult your healthcare provider to interpret your blood pressure readings in the context of your overall health.
How does the 2-user mode work?
The monitor stores up to 180 readings split between two user profiles — 90 readings per user. Each user selects their profile before taking a measurement, and the monitor stores the reading under that profile. This allows two people in the same household to track their blood pressure history independently on the same device without their readings being mixed together. The advanced averaging feature calculates the average of the last 3 readings for each user, providing a more representative result than a single measurement.
What arm circumference does the included cuff fit?
The included universal adult upper arm cuff fits arm circumferences from 8.7" to 16.5". Measure the circumference of your upper arm at the midpoint between the shoulder and elbow to confirm fit. If your arm circumference falls outside this range, a different cuff size may be needed for accurate readings — an improperly sized cuff is one of the most common sources of blood pressure measurement error. Contact us if you need guidance on cuff sizing for your specific arm circumference.
What does irregular heartbeat detection mean?
During measurement, the monitor analyzes the pulse pattern detected by the cuff sensor. If it detects an irregular pulse rhythm during the measurement — which may indicate an arrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation — it displays an alert symbol alongside the reading. This is a screening indicator only and does not diagnose any medical condition. If the irregular heartbeat indicator appears frequently or consistently, consult your healthcare provider for a proper evaluation.
