An affordable aftermarket solution for keeping your CPAP machine running cleanly and effectively. These Carex ultra-fine disposable filters are compatible with Philips Respironics System One 60 Series and SleepEasy machines, filtering out fine particles and contaminants to ensure clean, safe airflow during sleep therapy. Replace every two weeks for optimal performance. Each pack of 6 provides approximately 3 months of bi-weekly replacements.
How do I know if these filters are compatible with my CPAP machine?
These filters are compatible with Philips Respironics System One 60 Series machines (including the REMstar 60 Series) and SleepEasy CPAP machines. Check your machine’s model number on the label on the bottom or back of the unit and confirm it falls within these series before purchasing. If you are unsure, compare the filter dimensions and shape to your existing filter or consult your CPAP equipment supplier. Using an incompatible filter can result in an improper seal and reduced filtration effectiveness.
Why do CPAP filters need to be replaced so frequently?
CPAP machines draw in room air continuously throughout the night — typically 6 to 8 hours per session. Ultra-fine filters trap microscopic particles including dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne contaminants. Over time, these particles accumulate and clog the filter, restricting airflow and forcing the machine to work harder to maintain therapy pressure. A clogged filter can reduce therapy effectiveness, increase machine wear, and introduce contaminants into the airstream. Replacing every two weeks ensures consistent filtration performance and protects both the machine and the user.
Are these OEM (original) filters or aftermarket?
These are aftermarket filters manufactured by Carex, not OEM Philips Respironics filters. They are designed to be compatible with the listed machines and provide equivalent ultra-fine filtration at a lower cost per filter than OEM replacements. Aftermarket CPAP filters are widely used and accepted for home sleep therapy. If your CPAP is under warranty or managed through a DME provider, confirm with your provider that aftermarket filters are acceptable under your equipment agreement.
Do I need to clean these filters or just replace them?
These are disposable filters — they are designed to be replaced, not cleaned. Attempting to wash or rinse an ultra-fine disposable filter can damage the filter media, reducing its ability to trap fine particles and potentially introducing moisture into the CPAP airstream. Simply discard the used filter and insert a fresh one at least every two weeks, or more frequently if you live in a dusty environment, have pets, or notice reduced airflow from your machine.
