Reliable, medical-grade hand protection in bulk. These 3 mil powder-free nitrile examination gloves deliver the tactile sensitivity and barrier protection required for clinical, laboratory, dental, and professional use — without the latex allergy risk. Powder-free construction minimizes contamination risk and skin irritation during extended wear. The ambidextrous design fits either hand for efficient glove changes, and the 3 mil thickness balances durability with dexterity. Each case contains 10 boxes of 100 gloves (1,000 gloves total), available in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large.
What is the difference between 3 mil and 4 mil or 6 mil nitrile gloves?
Mil refers to the thickness of the glove material. A 3 mil glove is thinner, offering excellent tactile sensitivity and dexterity — making it the preferred choice for examination, clinical procedures, and tasks requiring fine motor control. Thicker gloves (4–6 mil) offer greater puncture and chemical resistance, making them better suited for industrial, chemical handling, or heavy-duty applications. For medical examination and general clinical use, 3 mil is the standard.
Why powder-free instead of powdered gloves?
Powdered gloves use cornstarch to make donning easier, but the powder can carry latex proteins, introduce contaminants into sterile fields, and cause skin irritation with prolonged use. The FDA banned powdered surgeon’s gloves and powdered patient examination gloves in 2017 for these reasons. Powder-free nitrile gloves are now the standard for medical and clinical use.
How do I choose the right glove size?
Measure the circumference of your dominant hand at the widest point (across the knuckles, excluding the thumb). Small fits approximately 6–7", Medium fits 7–8", Large fits 8–9", and X-Large fits 9–10". When in doubt, size up — a slightly loose glove is easier to work in than one that restricts circulation or dexterity.
Are these gloves safe for patients with latex allergies?
Yes. These gloves are 100% latex-free nitrile, making them safe for use with patients who have latex sensitivities or Type I latex allergies. Nitrile is the recommended alternative to latex for clinical settings where latex allergy is a concern.
