Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if Small is the right size?
The Small size is designed for smaller finger circumferences. The protector should fit snugly enough to stay in place and provide gentle compression without restricting circulation. If the cap feels too tight or causes numbness or tingling, try a larger size. If it slides off easily, the Small is likely the correct fit.

Can this be worn during daily activities?
Yes. The fabric exterior and gel lining are designed for wear during everyday tasks. Avoid prolonged water exposure, such as during dishwashing, and dry thoroughly afterward to extend the lifespan of the gel lining.

How do I clean and care for this protector?
Hand wash with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely before reuse. Do not machine wash or place in a dryer. With proper care, the protector remains effective for several weeks of regular use.

Can this help with cracked skin around the fingernail?
Yes. The gel lining cushions and soothes the fingertip and nail area, providing a protective barrier that reduces friction and irritation while the skin heals. For best results, apply any prescribed topical treatment to the finger before putting on the protector, as directed by your healthcare provider.
