Respiratory therapy made easier for kids and caregivers alike. The Penguin Pediatric Nebulizer features a fun, child-friendly penguin design that helps ease treatment anxiety in young patients and encourages cooperation during nebulizer sessions. Powered by a durable piston-driven compressor, it delivers consistent, effective aerosol therapy at home or on the go.
This kit includes both a reusable and a disposable nebulizer kit, giving caregivers flexibility for different treatment preferences and hygiene needs. A pediatric mask, tubing, and carry bag are all included for a complete, travel-ready setup right out of the box.
What is the difference between the reusable and disposable nebulizer kits?
The disposable nebulizer kit is intended for limited use and should be replaced after the recommended number of treatments — it is convenient for situations where cleaning between uses is not practical. The reusable nebulizer kit is designed to be cleaned and used repeatedly over time, making it more economical for ongoing daily treatments. Both are included so caregivers can choose based on their situation. Consult your child’s healthcare provider for guidance on which kit is most appropriate for the prescribed treatment protocol.
Should I use the pediatric mask or is a mouthpiece available?
This kit includes a pediatric mask, which is the recommended delivery method for infants and young children who cannot hold a mouthpiece in place or follow breathing instructions. The mask fits over the nose and mouth to ensure the full medication dose is inhaled. If your child is old enough to use a mouthpiece, check whether a mouthpiece accessory is available separately for this model, or consult your healthcare provider about the most effective delivery method for your child’s age and condition.
How do I clean the nebulizer parts after each use?
After each treatment, disassemble the nebulizer cup, mask, and any reusable components and rinse with warm water. Allow all parts to air dry completely on a clean surface before reassembling. Perform a deeper cleaning with mild dish soap or a diluted vinegar solution at least once a week. Do not submerge the compressor unit in water — wipe the exterior with a damp cloth only. Disposable components should be discarded after the recommended number of uses rather than cleaned and reused.
Is this nebulizer suitable for travel?
Yes. The included carry bag keeps all components organized and protected during transport, making it easy to take the nebulizer to appointments, on trips, or between home and other care settings. The piston-driven compressor requires a standard AC power outlet — if traveling internationally, check whether a voltage adapter is needed for your destination.
My son has needed to use a nebulizer on and off for the past several years. This machine is by far the best quality
