A secure, locking raised toilet seat with the open access that makes daily hygiene easier. This elongated raised toilet seat adds 4.5" of height to your existing toilet, making sitting and standing significantly easier for users with limited mobility, post-surgical restrictions, or joint pain. The standard locking mechanism secures the seat firmly to the toilet bowl for safe, stable use — no rocking or shifting. Wide openings at the front and rear of the seat provide access for personal hygiene without removing the seat. The armless design keeps the profile clean and unobtrusive, and the lightweight construction makes it easy to remove and reattach when needed. Fits most elongated toilets. Weight capacity: 300 lbs. Country of Origin: China.
How does the locking mechanism work?
The standard locking mechanism grips the underside of the toilet bowl rim to secure the raised seat in place during use. To install, position the seat on the bowl and engage the locks until they grip the rim firmly — the seat should not rock or shift when properly locked. Always confirm the seat is fully locked before use. To remove for cleaning or when not in use, disengage the locks and lift the seat off the bowl. The locking mechanism is a critical safety feature — never use the seat without confirming it is fully engaged.
Should I choose a raised seat with arms or without arms?
Arms (also called armrests or safety rails) provide additional support during the sit-to-stand transition, which can be helpful for users with significant weakness, balance issues, or strict post-surgical precautions. If you need to push up from the toilet using your arms, a raised seat with arms is the safer choice. This armless model is appropriate for users who have sufficient leg strength to stand without arm support, or whose bathroom layout (narrow toilet alcove, adjacent wall grab bars) does not accommodate armrests. Consult your physical therapist for a recommendation based on your specific needs.
What do the wide front and rear openings provide?
The wide openings at the front and rear of the seat provide access for personal hygiene — wiping and washing — without requiring the user to lift or remove the raised seat. On a standard raised seat without openings, the seat can obstruct hygiene access, particularly for users with limited arm reach or mobility. The front and rear openings on this seat make it a more practical choice for daily independent use.
Will this fit my elongated toilet?
This seat is designed to fit most elongated toilet bowls. Elongated bowls are approximately 18.5" long from the seat bolt holes to the front of the rim, compared to approximately 16.5" for standard round bowls. If you are unsure whether your toilet is round or elongated, measure the bowl length from the bolt holes to the front rim — if it is approximately 18.5", you have an elongated bowl. This seat is not designed for standard round bowls.
