Classic clinical organization for exam rooms and treatment areas. This set of 5 glass sundry jars comes pre-labeled for the five most common clinical supply categories: Cotton, Gauze, Tongue Depressors, Applicators, and Bandages. Each jar measures 7" deep x 4-1/4" diameter and features a stainless-steel cover for a clean, professional appearance and hygienic storage. Glass construction provides a non-porous, easy-to-clean surface that resists odors and chemical absorption. Sold as a set of 5 labeled jars.
What supplies are the jars labeled for?
The set of 5 jars comes pre-labeled for the five most common clinical countertop supply categories: Cotton, Gauze, Tongue Depressors, Applicators, and Bandages. The labels are applied to the jars at the factory — they are not blank jars that you label yourself. This makes the set ready to use immediately upon unpacking, with no additional setup required.
Why choose glass jars over plastic for clinical use?
Glass is non-porous, meaning it does not absorb odors, moisture, or chemical residues the way plastic can over time. This makes glass jars easier to clean and disinfect thoroughly between restocking cycles, and they do not develop the staining or cloudiness that plastic jars can develop with repeated cleaning. Glass also provides a more professional, clinical aesthetic that is standard in physician offices and exam rooms. The stainless-steel covers complement the glass construction and are similarly easy to wipe clean.
How do I clean and disinfect the jars?
Remove the stainless-steel cover and empty the jar completely before cleaning. Wash the glass jar with warm water and mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry or dry with a clean cloth before refilling. The stainless-steel cover can be wiped down with a hospital-grade disinfectant wipe or spray. Do not submerge the stainless-steel cover in water for extended periods to prevent any corrosion at the rim. Allow all components to dry fully before replacing the cover and restocking supplies.
Can these jars be autoclaved?
Glass is generally autoclave-compatible, but the stainless-steel covers and any label adhesives should be evaluated before autoclaving. If sterilization of the jars is required for your clinical protocol, confirm autoclave compatibility with your facility’s infection control guidelines before proceeding. For standard countertop supply storage — which does not require sterile containers — routine cleaning and disinfection between restocking cycles is the standard practice.
