Frequently Asked Questions

How does the infrared heat work?
The ceramic clay beads in the Thermorelief King absorb and emit infrared heat energy, which penetrates deeper into tissue than conventional surface heat. The beads also generate moist heat through fomentation as they warm up, without requiring any added water.

What does the weighted pressure do?
The over 5 lbs of ceramic clay beads provide gentle weighted pressure across the treatment area in addition to heat therapy. This combination of heat and pressure is designed to enhance the therapeutic experience during rest or treatment sessions.

How do I control the temperature and time?
The LCD digital controller allows you to set your preferred temperature and treatment duration. The auto on/off safety shutoff turns the pad off automatically at the end of the set time.

Can the cover be washed?
Yes. The flannel cover is machine washable. Remove the cover before washing and allow it to dry completely before reattaching and using the pad.
